The key components of the bulk solids system are the hydraulically operated Putzmeister sludge pumps, sliding frame and twin auger pump feed system receival silo that was fabricated locally.
Bulk skips of sludge waste are able to be accepted into the storage silo and recirculated to achieve a homogenized blend prior to pumping at a metered rate via pipework directly into the superblender during drum processing operations.
The system is fully automated and capable of pumping up to 7 m3/hour of sludge at a maximum pressure of 40 psi and is controlled by a Citect Scada system via a local control panel.
