Great Work Is Built by Great People
We know graduates bring fresh thinking that makes our business better. So, we built a program that gives you real work, real responsibility, and the support to grow into it from day one.
Over two years you’ll get a tailored program shaped around your discipline. For many graduates that means two or more rotations across different teams or sites; for others it means going deep in one area with project work that broadens your experience. Either way, you’ll take on day to day responsibilities, critical project work, and a mix of structured and on the job learning.
You won’t just observe. As a future people or technical leader of our business, you’ll be exposed to the full breadth of our operations to help you work out where your career is headed. Along the way, you’ll meet, work alongside and present to senior leaders to support your growth.
Disciplines we recruit
We hire graduates across a range of disciplines, with each pathway tailored to the work you'll be doing, ensuring your rotations and projects align with your long-term career goals.
Some of the graduate disciplines currently represented in our program include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation & Control, Supply Chain & Logistics, Process Engineering, Technical Services, and Mining Engineering. As our business evolves, so do the opportunities available, giving graduates exposure to diverse experiences across our operations
Why join our program?
- You’re not just a number. Our program is consciously small. That means meaningful work, personal mentoring, and a career path as unique as you are.
- You’ll own real projects. You’ll be hands-on from day one, solving genuine, critical issues with real ownership of your work, not sitting on the sidelines.
- You’ll learn from the best. You’ll be mentored by experts who love sharing their knowledge and want to hear your ideas, not just hand you tasks.
- You’ll see more of the business. We operate across Australia, and depending on your discipline, you may rotate through different sites and gain exposure to the unique operations at multiple locations. Our largest operations are in Gladstone, Railton, and Brisbane with Port Kembla and Perth home to other key operating sites.
What we look for

- You can build great relationships with everyone, from tradespeople to leadership

- You bring a positive attitude, a love of learning, and a willingness to tackle whatever comes your way
- You’re open to travel, and to relocating for a rotation if your discipline involves one (we provide relocation support)

You’ll need to have completed (or be about to complete) your qualification and hold the right to work in Australia.

What our Grads say...
“I thought I’d mostly be completing tasks for my supervisor. The reality is I had far more control and responsibility, at times even running projects as the project manager.”
“You learn so much in a short amount of time, all with the practical backdrop of on-site engineering and a range of experienced people to support you.”
“Supply chain and logistics is dynamic. No two days are the same and there’s always something to learn.”
“I’ve gained real depth in chemistry, cement, concrete and other SCMs, and grown just as much in how I work with others and navigate challenges.
