History

A snapshot of some significant events in Geocycle’s history:

  • 1993 First load of LKF (Liquid Kiln Fuel) dispatched from Geocycle

  • 2001 First load of SBF (Solvent Based Fuel) dispatched from Geocycle to Cement Australia’s Gladstone(Queensland) cement kiln

  • 2008 First load of HVF (High Viscosity fuel) dispatched from Geocycle to Cement Australia’s Railton (Tasmania) cement kiln.

  • 2009 installed and commissioned the Superblender system

  • 2013 installed and commissioned the Bulk Solids system

  • 2016 successfully commenced the safe and sustainable destruction of a range of contaminated soils and solid materials at Cement Australia’s Railton cement kiln

  • 2018 successfully commenced the safe and sustainable destruction of AFFF (PFAS) materials at Cement Australia’s Gladstone cement kiln
