The Cement Australia graduate program is a two year program that offers graduates the opportunity to learn from some of the best and brightest in their fields. The program consists of multiple rotations, providing graduates with greater exposure and understanding of the business by working across different sites and areas of the business.

Graduate programs commence in February each year, with recruitment and selection processes undertaken May - August of the year prior. Cement Australia looks for graduates with the skills, diligence and passion to work in real operations roles across the business.

Cement Australia’s current graduate program seeks out individuals keen to develop their skills and experience in the following disciplines:

  • Process Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering and Asset Management

  • Electrical Automation and Control

  • Technical Services

  • Supply Chain and Logistics

Applications for our 2020 Graduate intake will close 11th June 2019 at 9am AEST. Following this, screening and interviewing will continue until late July with offers anticipated by late August 2019.

Cement Australia seeks out the best local candidates to join the apprenticeship programs at our Gladstone, Railton and Cornwall Coal sites.  Each year we review our requirements and advertise accordingly.

The apprenticeship program is a four-year program offered across Mechanical and Electrical trades and is designed to deliver the high standard of learning needed to gain a trade qualification.

Recruitment for our apprenticeship programs opens around September for commencement the following year.
