Lime

Quicklime is used in a variety of industrial and environmental applications including sugar production and soli stabilisation.  Quicklime is available in granulate, pebble or ultra-fine powdered form. Hydrated Lime is the result of water added to quicklime under controlled conditions. Hydrated lime can be used in similar applications as quicklime however the hydrated products are more chemically dilute and do not expel heat when combined with water. Common applications for hydrated lime include water and waste treatment, asphalt production and soil stabilisation.

As well as lime, Cement Australia is able to produce customised lime blends for niche requirements where our standard product range does not meet your specifications.

Our blending plants are able to produce multi-component products to suit specific requirements.
